The luncheon featured Dr. Nicole Saphier, board-certified radiologist, author, and medical contributor, as the special guest speaker. Dr. Saphier spoke passionately about the importance of women’s health and empowerment, aligning with Birth Haven’s mission to uplift and support young mothers during times of crisis.
A highlight of the event was a deeply moving speech by a former Birth Haven resident, who courageously shared her personal story from 15 years ago. Her testimony served as a powerful reminder of the long-lasting impact and compassionate care that she received during her stay at Birth Haven.
“For four decades, Birth Haven has offered refuge and hope to young women navigating some of life’s most difficult moments,” said Tina Magarino, Executive Director of Birth Haven. “Today, we celebrate the thousands of lives touched by this mission and reaffirm our commitment to creating a future where every pregnant woman has a place to call home.”
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the Spring Tea Luncheon raised essential funds that will directly support Birth Haven’s programs, which include residential shelter, prenatal and parenting education, counseling, and life skills development for young women in need.
As it steps into the next chapter, Birth Haven is driven by its core promise: to create a future where every pregnant woman has a safe place to call home.
